Fuel control in transport - how best to organize control?
- To date, many different means have been created and very successfully tested to help control the amount and consumption of fuel on a vehicle. The most effective solution is to install a fuel level sensor in the fuel tank. The presence of such a sensor allows you to track any refueling and discharges of fuel, as well as monitor fuel consumption for any period.
- If it is not possible to install a fuel level sensor in the tank, it is worth using a fuel flow sensor. Such a sensor cannot control refueling and draining, but monitors the real fuel consumption. As an alternative, we offer connection to standard sensors via CAN bus. Connecting to a computer will allow you to receive fuel information directly from your vehicle.
What are the expenses awaiting me after purchasing the tracker?
- You will pay a monthly fee for using the capabilities of our monitoring service, technical support and GPRS Internet on the SIM card inserted into the tracker.
Work in roaming. In which countries can the OVERSEER system be used?
- GPS signals can be received in almost any country. However, in order to transfer information to the server, a GSM and GPRS connection is required. If your transport travels to many countries, and among them there is some country in which GPRS is not available, the tracking device will save the information received from the GPS in its internal memory and transmit it to the server when the GPRS connection is restored. The storage time of information in the internal memory depends on the technical specification of the tracking device.
How to log in from a mobile device or tablet?
- Browser version of OVERSEER monitoring system is supported by mobile devices. You can also use Wialon Local app for Ios and Android. What does the abbreviation mean mpFCS, AbsFCS, InsFCS, FLS?
- mpFCS - pulse fuel consumption sensor.
